Virtual workshops

Use for: running a workshop via video conference or conference call

Ideally, workshops take place face to face. However, it is not always possible to have everyone in the same place. If you have to run a workshop via telephone or video conference, here are some guidelines to make the best use of the team’s time.

The workshop objective: to prepare for and experience a high-quality workshop despite geographical distance

1  Send a prep task for the team to read and carry out, like for any creative workshop, for example interviewing a stakeholder, conducting a mini case study, talking to a customer, etc.
