5	CHAPTER FIVE Priming the workshop participants

It is important that the people are primed and ready to contribute to a workshop. There are two elements essential to prime people before any workshop:

1  An invitation: an invitation that clarifies the objective, sets expectations and builds curiosity and excitement.

2  A prep task: an individual task that each participant does in advance of the workshop to kick-start thinking, gather inspiration and prepare each individual to come ready to contribute.
