Why is this so difficult just because I’ve added a few folks?

Let’s look first at why it’s so difficult to communicate well, even if you want to do so, and even if you’ve solved the “frequency riddle.” Imagine that you and I are the only ones in your company. There is a single line of communication between us—after all, no one else is around.

Now let’s assume that another person, Ken, joins your firm. Now there are four lines of communication, or “chat groups”: you to me, you to Ken, Ken to me, and all three of us in one chat group. It’s already become disproportionately difficult to keep everyone well informed. It certainly was easier when there were only two of us.
