About the Editors

Kurt Kraiger, PhD Kurt is a department chair and professor of psychology at Colorado State University. Dr. Kraiger is a fellow and former president of the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP). He is also a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science. At Colorado State University, he also directs the online Master’s degree in Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He is a noted expert on training and training evaluation, having published or presented over 140 papers on training and related topics. He has edited or co-edited two books: Creating, Implementing, and Managing Effective Training and Development Systems in Organizations: State-of-the-Art Lessons for Practice, and Improving Training Effectiveness in Work Organizations. He is currently on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Management, and the Journal of Business and Psychology. He is also actively engaged in research on learning in ill-structured environments (e.g., computer-based training and through mentoring programs).

Jonathan Passmore, D.Occ.Psych Jonathan is professor of psychology at the University of Evora, Portugal and managing director of Embrion, a psychology consulting company working across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
