6 Conceptualising Child versus Adult Well-Being: Schooling and Employment

6.1 Introduction

This chapter seeks to provide a case for the greater consideration of children’s well-being in education policy by presenting a discussion of adult and child subjective well-being in relation to the comparable experiences of employment and education, focusing on evidence predominantly from the UK (notably England) and USA.
