Marketing and Getting the Clients
I n my opinion, this is the most important chapter of this entire book. If you can’t get any clients, you’ll be out of business. When you make this the number-one priority in your business, you’ll be way ahead of your competition. Back when I started my business, I knew the importance of marketing. I learned as much as I could on the subject and allotted a substantial portion of my budget for advertising. I needed to get up and running quickly. By prioritizing the marketing, I surpassed many of my competitors within a few years. Many of them have since gone out of business. Before you can market successfully, you need to know what’s going on in your market.
