Closing Thoughts
You have completed 365 writing challenges, a major body of work. You have a wealth of material to mine for future web writing. You’ve flexed writing muscles, stretched your imagination, and culled memories. You’ve developed good habits, empowered your writing voice, taken risks, discovered strengths and weaknesses, and hopefully, had some fun.
This is a good time for reflection, reward, and recommitment.
• Reflection. Look over your work as a whole, and take stock. Which topics were the most challenging? What did you write about that made you feel passionate? What did you write about that surprised you? Which topics were scary or boring? This is also a good time to revisit challenge 323, “Artist’s Statement.”
