Space Structure Buildings

The buildings in this chapter are all assembly or sports buildings, and thus overlap in type with those in the preceding chapter but are grouped together because of the type of roof structure they use. These structures are non-planar and are referred to as space structures, meaning not ony that, like all objects, they exist in space but that they can only be conveniently seen by using three-dimensional drawings and, in particular, that their structural action can only be understood by considering a spatial or three-dimensional model of the action.
