BUILDING LEADERS OF CHARACTER FOR THE ARMY AND THE NATION
This chapter integrates the sciences of leadership, moral decision making, social, cognitive, and developmental psychology, and organizational behavior, relating these theories to both the formal and informal developmental processes of leaders. Drawing from theories of authentic leadership development and moral leadership, we will then provide recommendations for accelerating moral development in cadets, students, and employees in the future.
