API (application programming interface). A programming interface that allows software to interact or fit in with other software. In Minecraft, it allows for smoother matching of the programming with mods and plugins.
blocks. The basic building material in Minecraft, blocks are approximately one-meter cubes and can be anything from dirt and stone to wool or a watermelon.
caps. Using all uppercase letters when chatting online—it is considered shouting and therefore rude.
chunk. One section of the map, 16 blocks square and 256 blocks tall. Chunks are generated around the player as they move.
despawn. When a mob or item disappears from the game. Mobs despawn when they are killed. Player items dropped at death also despawn after a few minutes. ...
