2. Surviving Your First Day

Welcome to the world.

It’s morning and you are... somewhere (Figure 2.1). You could be on the side of a mountain, in a field, or in a forest. What’s important is that time is of the essence. A day in Minecraft is 20 minutes long, so you have 10 minutes until night falls. What happens when night falls? That’s when the bad things come out. No time to explain that, though. Let’s go over what you’ll want to accomplish before that happens.
