Vision Signal Distribution

Once one of the available picture sources in the studio has been selected by the switcher in the production control room, this picture needs to be distributed—to various monitor points in the building, to recording systems, to central routing areas (e.g. continuity, network control, etc.).

Distribution amplifier

This is a special amplifier which usually has no gain. It provides many identical separate output signals all electrically isolated from each other. The output is an exact copy of the input signal.
