ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Gary J. Beach is Publisher Emeritus for International Data Group’s CIO magazine, an online and print publication written for chief information officers. During his career at CIO he has served as the magazine’s primary spokesman, appearing frequently in media organizations such as USA Today, the New York Times, National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” program, where he contributed technology commentaries for nearly five years, and CNBC’s “Squawk Box” and “Squawk on the Street” financial news programs, where he reported technology investment forecasts. He and his wife, Catherine, and their cat, Zorro, live in the Boston area.
