Ideas are valuable. Inside the kernel of an idea could be your next product or the future direction of your organisation. They are precious and should be treated as such. In their beginnings, ideas are also fragile. New emerging thoughts can seem foreign to some, though, stirring resistance and causing the fledgling ideas to suffer as a result. To overcome this, you can hatch ideas and get them off to a solid start by using the safety of a hothouse environment.

A hothouse is a dedicated team of people coming together to address a specific problem. The mix of people can vary and the hothouse is usually given sanction to behave beyond the confines of normal processes.
