Everybody has a special place
“My best thinking happens in the shower.” It is a recognisable phrase because everyone has a best thinking place. There will be characteristics of your place that bring out the best creative aspects in you. Maybe you have more than one place and use each of them for different types of problem-solving? Two things are certain—you have a special place and it is as individual as you are.
You may not always be able to get to your special place. Having a shower during a client meeting might be frowned upon. What you can do, however, is to discover the attributes of your special place and why it suits you. This is vital knowledge that you can carry with you and apply whenever you need it.
