Today’s workplace often puts a premium on creativity and innovation. For evidence, a cross-section of senior executives from various countries and industries was asked: “On a scale of one to ten, how important is innovation to the success of your firm?” These executives all rated the importance of innovation very high: usually a nine or ten. They considered it the number one source for their firm’s growth.
