Despite my very best intentions, I have encountered some people throughout my life who simply are not interested in and do not want my feedback. I would spend a lot of time writing down behaviors, focusing on how I thought others perceived their behavior, and my desired changes to their behavior. I would focus on facts and keep things as unemotional as possible during the feedback session. Even though I did all the right things, my feedback sessions would go bust.
