Some millennials are combining their penchant for entrepreneurship with their social consciousness. At business schools across the globe, more and more students are enrolling in social entrepreneurship courses and participating in social enterprise competitions. For example, there's the annual student-led Global Social Venture Competition, which awards a grand prize of $25,000 to the business plan with the best blend of economic value and social impact. Begun in 1999 at Berkeley, it has grown to include Columbia Business School, London Business School, Yale School of Management, and the Indian School of Business.
