To Dwayne McClelland, it's simply his fatherly duty to do all he can to help his children. So when his son faced a scheduling conflict for a meeting with faculty advisers in mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University, McClelland showed up alone to ask questions on his behalf.
