Bicron Corp. is a high-tech company that manufactures unique corona-free transformers valued for their exceptional long usage life in harsh environments. Chris Skomorowski, CEO, trained to buy and run an entrepreneurial company as CEO of a Fortune 1000 company. During its formative years, Bicron was entirely opportunistic. Bicron jumped on every doable sale opportunity that came its way without the guidance or discipline of a vision, a business plan, a company definition. Bicron operated five very different business models, with different profits and losses (P&L’s), different inventory requirements, manufacturing operations, and sales channels.
