It is harder to transform a successful company than it is to fix a sick company. In a sick company everybody knows there are problems. Everybody knows something has to change, be it good or bad. In a successful company people are enjoying the vegetables of their labors. People don’t want the good times to end, and they don’t want to hear that things have to change.

The biggest problem in business is that the environment, the market, technology, and competitors change, but companies do not.
