Executive Summary
As much as I relish the idea of presenting you with some sort of George Jetson-esque image depicting the CIO of TOMORROW, complete with a flying car, the plain truth is that the future state of the CIO is already visible. As you would suspect, it's less about technology than it is about mind-set. What makes the CIO of the future different from the CIO of the present isn't storage capacity or run rates—it's the willingness to work outside the comfort zone of IT and embrace the challenges of business.
