Emotional people

Inevitably work can sometimes become an emotional place. However, you may find an individual team member is too frequently finding it difficult to manage his or her emotions. Perhaps it is when anyone tries to disagree, critique output or offer an alternative point of view that this individual becomes disproportionately upset or defensive even to the point of welling up in tears. The emerging issue may be that people will become increasingly unwilling to engage in conflict with this person, which is affecting the efficiency of the team.
