Now, with a shared understanding of your matrix map’s messages about the strength of your overall organizational business model, it is time to turn to a program-by-program strategic inquiry based on where on the map each of your programs lands. Your organization’s performance is the aggregate performance of your programs, so continued rigor and candor in these conversations is critical. Over a series of task force conversations, consider each quadrant and inquire into why each mission-specific and fund development program landed there and what the group’s thoughts are for initial decision-making implications.
