About the Authors
Robert S. Kaplan is the Marvin Bower Professor of Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. Formerly he was on the faculty of the Graduate School of Industrial Administration, Carnegie-Mellon University, where he also served as Dean from 1977 to 1983. He is the creator of the Harvard Business School video series Measuring Corporate Performance and the author or coauthor of more than 120 papers and ten books, including, with David Norton, The Balanced Scorecard: Translating Strategy into Action. Dr. Kaplan consults on the design of performance and cost management systems with leading companies worldwide.
