Most businesses want to grow. It’s difficult to decide when to launch new products and when to get into new markets; the growth grid can make choices clearer. Groups of people can also get involved in the discussion. It can also help you make decisions about strategy.

How to use?

Start by listing current markets, products and services. Examine threats, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses (SWOT analysis). Think about the level of competition with current markets and products (5 forces). Figure out what unique capabilities you offer (value chain).
