The Story of Purpose has many chapters, the first being my own search for meaning. I found it when I met my wife, Cynthia. She is my reason for being. For 23 years, she has been my “once upon a time.”
Our two sons, Alden and Julien, are the result of two people crazy in love. Their souls and smiles show it. Alden is acing his freshman year at Brandeis University and Julien is a junior at Galloway High School in pursuit of his own beautiful story.
My thanks to Robyn Spizman, who is no stranger to success. Both visionary and cheerleader, Robyn has inspired and guided me every step of the way, authoring a library of books herself. Ali Spizman is her dauntless daughter, my executive assistant, and a rock star. Also an author, Ali worked tirelessly on this book while working around the clock at BrightHouse. I know of no associate more skilled, willed, and thrilled with her life and work, and it shows every day. Robyn’s other jewel is her son, attorney and writer Justin Spizman, who has contributed to this book as well.
