Simple, clean design was an obsession of Steve Jobs. His interest in design began with the style of architecture where he grew up and his love of the houses developed by Joseph Eichler. In an interview with his biographer, Walter Isaacson, Jobs shared his thoughts about Eichler’s designs.
“His houses were smart and cheap and good.
