1.   Inclusions and Exclusions

This glossary includes terms that are:

  • Unique to program management (e.g., benefits management).
  • Not unique to program management, but used differently or with a narrower meaning in program management than in general everyday usage (e.g., benefit, risk).

This glossary generally does not include:

  • Application or industry area-specific terms.
  • Terms used in program management which do not differ in any material way from everyday use (e.g., business outcome).
