Next Steps

As the final performance approaches, the stage manager will face one of two situations: closing the show or moving it to a new theatre. In both instances you will undertake some final organizational tasks and revisit your documentation of the production to ensure that it is thorough and complete.

MOVING THE PRODUCTION

If the end of the run does not mean the end of the show, the stage manager’s final days will be spent preparing to move to a new location.
