6.2. Step 6: Finalize the deployment plan
As the Enterprise Business Sponsor (EBS), you may have final approval authority of the deployment plan, timeline, and supporting documentation. Or, you may need to get final approval from the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board of Directors, or another governing body within your company.
This step in the deployment method is the time to present the finalized plans to this approval authority and promote the upcoming activities. You should highlight the work done in planning and preparation by the SDT and get buy-in from the project managers.
