Chapter 6. Software deployment Phase 2: Refine and promote the plan
The next phase of your software deployment should, ideally, take place after any sales are complete and contracts are finalized. This allows the Software Deployment Team (SDT) to understand any last minute changes to the contracts and understand the documents prepared earlier. After you finalize and agree to the deployment plans, you are ready to start promoting the plans to the rest of your enterprise. This promotion activity continues throughout the timeline of the deployment plan, but starts by holding an initial kickoff meeting.
