1.6. The readiness plan

After you commit to purchase IBM Software, it is critical that your employees acquire the skills and process knowledge necessary to successfully implement the solution. The readiness plan is designed to facilitate the communications and planning between you and IBM at critical junctures. It is prepared by the IBM Software Architect or Technical Specialist. The number of readiness plans that are required depend on several factors such as the people who are involved, the complexity of the environment, and the number and complexity of projects.
