A nationally known leader in wealth management and consumer advocacy, Jennifer Openshaw has observed first-hand how technology is rapidly changing the financial industry. She has advised Fortune 500 firms, including Microsoft, on technology, social media, and communications, and writes a column on consumer investing and tech tools for Dow Jones' MarketWatch and the LinkedIn Influencer program. She was named among the 25 Rising Stars of the Internet for her work as founder and CEO of Women's Financial Network, a pioneer in serving women investors online, and later sold the business to Wall Street legend Muriel Siebert. Jennifer started her career in the California State Treasurer's Office and has also held top positions at Bank of America, Wilshire Associates, and BankOne before serving as an executive of several consumer and wealth advisor social media platforms. Jennifer has appeared on Oprah, Dr. Phil, CNN, and Fox. She speaks nationwide to financial services companies, universities, and government agencies and also chairs Consumer Action's Corporate Advisory Board. Jennifer's previous book, The Millionaire Zone (Hyperion), is based on research about how the wealthy use their social networks to achieve financial success.
