Guidelines for Contracting with Your Manager

If you are an internal facilitator or an external facilitator who is not selfemployed, it is important to have an agreement with your manager about how you contract with groups. By reaching this agreement with your manager before you begin contracting with a group, you reduce potential misunderstanding between the group, your manager, and you, all of which better serves the group. In this resource I present a set of questions and issues for you and your manager to consider when developing your agreement with each other. Exhibit H.1 gives a list of the issues.
