Once you get serious and decide that freelance producing is something you are going to continue to do, there are some business basics you’ll need to take care of to look and operate as a legitimate business entity. I highly recommend that you set aside some time to thoroughly research setting up a business because the process involves several steps, can be confusing, differs from state to state, and will have a major impact on how you file taxes.
