COLOR GRADING OPTIONS
Here are your software options for color grading. There is some higher-end stuff, but generally that is software you hire someone to use for you because it usually requires specialized control equipment and specially calibrated monitors.
Color: The best option at the prosumer price point. Color ships with Final Cut Studio and produces very pretty images. It includes lots of filter presets too, which will enable you to mimic lots of classic film processes. Color has a bit of a learning curve and its interface is decidedly tough to grasp, but once you get going with it, it’s very powerful.
