A Word on Budgets

Writing a budget can be a challenge, especially if you’re more creative minded. This is something that usually falls to producers and production managers, but we’re trying to stay Down and Dirty here, and when you’re working on tight budgets with skeleton crews, having a producer isn’t always an option. But make no mistake, you’re going to have a lot of expenses to keep track of, and if you want to be the one in creative control when it comes time to shoot, you should be the one holding the purse strings.
