The term “broadcast standard” is a slippery one because there is no actual “standard.” While there are many similarities, each network and broadcast platform has its own unique specs for how videos should be formatted and delivered. Always check with the company that will be receiving the final video well beforehand, so you’ll know what you need to do in post and won’t have any last-minute surprises. Allow for time and budget to transfer to the specified broadcast format such as Digi-Beta or HD Cam.
