SETUP PROCEDURE
| Talent Call | Actors and other on-screen talent should be scheduled to arrive on set with an hour or so to eat quickly, get dressed, and made up. Consult your wardrobe and makeup department for how much time they will need. |
| Talent and Releases Signed | I always recommend getting talent releases up front before the camera even rolls, so you don’t forget at the end, and just in case a funky actor “situation” develops later, you’re covered to use the footage you’ve shot. |
| Makeup and Costume | Talent should get their hair and makeup done and get dressed and ready for shooting. |
| Set Dressing | The set should be rearranged and dressed as needed for shooting—furniture moved and props put in place. Always take a few digital pictures on your phone ... |
