STORYBOARDS

The necessity and value of a script is obvious. However, storyboards that lay out the project visually can be just as vital, depending on the complexity of your project. I am a huge fan of storyboarding. Storyboards always make any project go smoother, even if they are just stick figure drawings. The mere act of visualizing your ideas on paper will help you anticipate production problems, get a better handle on your story, and communicate your vision more clearly to everyone involved. The purpose of employing storyboards is two-fold: (1) to previsualize the project to help you and the technical team better plan each scene, and (2) to make sure that you and the client are on the same page.
