FIXING LOCATION AUDIO IN POST

It’s a long-running joke on many sets whenever someone says, “We’ll fix it in post.” This is often the mantra of an inexperienced, overly optimistic, or just plain delusional filmmaker, because more often than not, production mistakes and problems simply can’t be “fixed in post.” And even when they can, fixing the problems generally requires 10 times the amount of time, effort, and cost it would’ve taken to plan and capture the shot correctly on location.
