ANATOMY OF A GREEN SCREEN INTERVIEW

1  Hair light should be placed behind and a little above the subject to provide greater separation from the background.

2  Bright, soft, even lighting on the green screen background. If using a cloth backdrop smooth it out to avoid big wrinkles which cause shadows.

3  Adequate lighting on the subject. Should be consistent with the look or lighting of the scene to be keyed into the background. (i.e., If you were keying in an outdoor scene, then the color temperature and relative brightness of your lights should match daylight.)

4  Interview subject with wardrobe that does not match the green color to be keyed ...
