1 Globalization of Services: What, Why, and When

Let’s assume you’re a senior decision maker at a company somewhere in the developed world. Let’s assume further that your company is engaged in providing services of some sort or another. But let’s not be too restrictive in our definition of “providing services.” Even if your company is primarily a manufacturer, it almost certainly provides an extensive menu of services—both within the company, and between your company and its customers and vendors.
