About the Author

Timothy J. McIntosh is the chief investment officer of Strategic Investment Partners LLC and its affiliate, SIPCO. Mr. McIntosh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Florida State University. He has also attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Sarasota/Argosy and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of South Florida. He is a certified financial planner (CFP) and a CFA Level II Candidate.

Mr. McIntosh served as an adjunct finance professor at Eckerd College from 1998 to 2008. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, USA Today, Investment Advisor, Fortune, Barron's, and the St. Petersburg Times. He was named one of the top investment advisors in the country for doctors by Medical Economics Magazine in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2011. He and his wife, Kim, have two sons and reside in Boerne, Texas.
