BUILDING AN EXECUTION FRAMEWORK
We have discussed how strategy planning and strategy execution are inexorably linked. Smart planners make strategic choices with an awareness of what will be needed to achieve the strategy. That is why, as mentioned in Chapter 4, I advocate having the senior team devote some time to the execution framework at the conclusion of the planning portion of the offsite session.
