Demonstrating and Certifying Conformance
Abstract
It is becoming increasingly mandatory for conformance of an organization to be demonstrated and certified to meet up the requirements of IEC 61508. This need has been driven by the customer demands for certification along with the aspirations of the suppliers. Certifications, discussed in this chapter, address all the quantitative and qualitative aspects of a product.
