If you don’t like their partner, tough

Here’s a Rule that lots of people find really difficult. You have this great friend who you love being around, and then they get together with someone you really don’t like. Maybe their new partner is just unpleasant or perhaps they treat your friend badly in your view. Your friend, of course, can’t see it. They just want their best friend and their partner to get on together. What do you do?
