Make sure they know they’re priority no. 1

You know that your kids come first, of course they do. But do they know that? Most of the time it’s not hard to give them your love and attention, but it can be very tough when your mind and your emotions are elsewhere. When you’re coping with intense worry, stress or grief it’s not easy to remember to put the kids first.

In those darkest moments, your usual levels of attention and patience are challenged.
