They have to live with their choices (and it’s OK)

When I was 16 I decided that I wanted to go into the Forestry Commission. I was accepted and just about to start my training when I suddenly announced that actually I wanted to go to art school instead. Quite a change. My mother must have had an opinion about this, but she admirably kept it to herself and supported my choice. I still have no idea which she thought would be best for me (if either).
